Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya visited the King Hussein Bridge Terminal today, the only gateway for Palestinian brethren in the West Bank to reach the Kingdom, and through it to various countries around the world. The terminal witnesses active and heavy traffic in both directions, with approximately two million passengers using it annually. Security and customs agencies are making exceptional efforts to facilitate passenger movement and the smooth transport of goods.
The government is working, as part of a comprehensive plan, to improve the terminal's infrastructure, including developing the road network, expanding cargo yards, establishing dedicated parking spaces for public transportation, and relocating the duty-free shop to a more convenient location.
