Minister of Interior Follows Up on Evaluation of Developments Related to Enhancing the Safety of Transporting Hazardous Materials
Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya visited the Directorate of Public Safety, Traffic, and Environmental Affairs on Monday, where he met with the Director and its staff.
Al-Faraya emphasized that this visit comes within the framework of a practical review of developments related to enhancing the security and safety system for transporting hazardous materials in the Kingdom and evaluating them.
Minister Al-Faraya also praised the level of progress in the methodology for handling hazardous materials, emphasizing the importance of a thorough examination of the procedures adopted for handling these materials at all stages and in all their details. He emphasized the need to accurately meet the necessary conditions and requirements, and to verify the integrity of these procedures and their adherence to developments.
In this context, Al-Faraya stressed the importance of continuing to develop the public safety and security system related to the handling of hazardous materials in all its aspects.
