Minister of Interior Stresses the Importance of the Rule of Law and Institutional Work in Developing Public Performance and Service Delivery
Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya, during his visit to Ma'an Governorate on Tuesday, discussed with relevant authorities, in the presence of Ma'an Governor Dr. Khaled Al-Hajjaj and administrative governors, the need for harmony and consistency in field work between the various councils and committees in the governorate, ensuring partnership in service provision and the fulfillment of duties.
Minister Al-Faraya emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination among all parties to improve the level of services provided. He also emphasized the need to support municipal committees and the Governorate Council Committee, assisting them in implementing the administrative decisions they make to serve citizens.
In this context, Al-Faraya emphasized the need for municipal committees to work efficiently and effectively, consult jointly with other municipalities, benefit from their experiences, and share knowledge and expertise. He emphasized the importance of improving the human resources situation in municipalities, achieving justice among employees and increasing their productivity. Al-Faraya also directed the Ma'an Governorate Council Committee to accelerate the implementation of existing projects, evaluate the governorate's budget, and make necessary transfers, when necessary, to serve the public interest of the governorate's residents.

Faraya also highlighted the importance of the rule of law and regular institutional work in developing public administration performance, ensuring the right to receive optimal services. He emphasized the need for this to be evident through practical results that citizens should observe in various fields.

In a related context, Minister Al-Faraya listened to a briefing from the Governor of Ma'an and the Security Council on the role of various agencies and departments in providing services and carrying out their duties. The Chairman of the Greater Ma'an Municipality Committee and the Chairman of the Governorate Council Committee also reviewed their work plans for the coming period.
